Creating Moments That Matter: Small Actions, Big Impact

If you’ve been thinking about boosting engagement on a budget, think about moments that matter.🌟

Engagement is essential for productivity, employee happiness, and ultimately, client and customer outcomes. It also doesn’t hurt things that Gallup research shows highly engaged workforces are 21% more profitable.

But engagement initiatives don’t need to be expensive!

Some really creative things I’ve seen in my clients and others;

  • Personalised welcome kits for new hires (bonus points for including a new employee’s favourite snack!)

  • Surprise "thank you" notes from leadership for a job well done

  • "Fail of the month" celebrations to encourage innovation and risk-taking

  • Regular "coffee roulette" pairings to foster cross-functional connections

It’s really not about the size of the action, but the thought behind it. It’s all about showing employees they matter to you.
