Why flexible work… works
Some interesting new research (although American), digs into the ‘why’ flexible work wins when it comes to balancing remote work.
The key finds - First off, people who have more say over their work hours are way happier. It's a no-brainer, really. Feeling rushed and out of control is a major mood killer.
Surprisingly, how many hours you work doesn’t seem to matter as much as having that control.
And finally, best of all? People who have flexible schedules can handle feeling busy without it impacting their job satisfaction as much – so busy people aren’t necessarily going to leave, IF they feel in control of their schedules.
